These terms explain how you buy from Anvaya Living, what you can expect from us, and what we ask of you. We have written them in plain English. They apply every time you use this website or place an order with us. If anything here is unclear, please write to info@anvayaliving.in and we will explain it.
Anvaya Living is a partnership firm based in India.
Address: A-401, Akshar Alvario, Plot No. 76, Sector 27, Nerul, Navi Mumbai 400706, Maharashtra, India
Website: anvayaliving.in
Email: info@anvayaliving.in
We sell our own tableware directly to you. There is no marketplace and there are no other sellers on this site.
By using this website, creating an account or placing an order, you accept these terms.
When you create an account and when you place an order, we ask you to tick a box confirming that you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy. The box is never ticked for you. You tick it yourself.
These terms should be read together with our Shipping Policy, our Returns Policy and our Privacy Policy. Those pages form part of these terms.
You need to be 18 or older and able to enter into a contract under Indian law. If you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian to order for you.
We currently sell and deliver within India only. All prices are in Indian Rupees.
We sell our tableware for personal and household use. If you would like to buy in quantity, or to resell, please write to us first.
You can order as a guest, or you can create an account.
If you create one, please give us accurate details and keep them current. Your delivery depends on them.
Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account. If you think someone else has access to it, tell us at info@anvayaliving.in and we will help.
We may suspend or close an account that is being used unlawfully, fraudulently or to abuse the site. We will tell you why.
There is no button to delete your account yet. Write to info@anvayaliving.in and we will do it for you. Our Privacy Policy explains what we keep afterwards and why.
Our tableware is porcelain with a reactive glaze.
We describe every product as accurately as we can, and the photography is of the actual product.
A reactive glaze behaves differently on every piece. Tone, depth of colour, the way the glaze pools at an edge, and small differences in size and weight are part of how these pieces are made. Two plates from the same set will not be identical. That is the character of the material, not a fault, and we do not treat it as a defect.
Colours also look different on different screens. We cannot guarantee that the shade on your screen is exactly the shade in your hand.
If a piece reaches you chipped, cracked, faulty, or genuinely not as described, that is a different matter and it is covered by our Returns Policy.
The care guidance for each piece is shown on its product page. To protect the reactive glaze, we recommend gentle hand washing.
Stock levels shown on the site are the real numbers from our warehouse. When we say a few are left, that is how many are left. We do not invent scarcity.
Beyond your rights under Indian consumer law and our Returns Policy, we offer no additional warranty or guarantee, since normal wear, crazing over time and marks from use are expected in glazed porcelain.
All prices are in Indian Rupees.
The price you see is the total you pay for the item. No tax is added at checkout. Any delivery charge is shown to you before you pay, so the amount at the payment step is the full amount.
We are not registered for GST. We therefore do not charge GST, we do not issue a GST tax invoice, and you cannot claim input tax credit on a purchase from us. You will receive an order confirmation by email listing what you bought and what you paid.
Prices can change. The price that applies to your order is the price shown when you place it.
Very occasionally a price or a product detail is wrong on the site. If we spot an obvious error before we dispatch, we will contact you, and you can either confirm the order at the correct price or cancel it. If you have already paid and you cancel, or if we cancel, we refund you in full. We will not simply charge you the higher amount.
You can pay by Razorpay, which covers UPI, cards, netbanking and wallets, or by Cash on Delivery. If we have issued you store credit, you can use that too.
Card, UPI and netbanking details are entered inside Razorpay's own secure payment window. Those details never reach our servers and we never store them. We keep only the payment reference that Razorpay returns to us.
A product listed on this site is an invitation for you to place an order, not an offer we have already made.
When you complete checkout, we send you an order confirmation email. That email confirms we have received your order. The contract between us is formed when we dispatch the order.
We may decline or cancel an order before dispatch. The usual reasons are that an item is unexpectedly out of stock, there is a pricing or listing error, we cannot deliver to the address given, or we have good reason to suspect fraud or bulk resale. If this happens we will tell you and refund anything you have paid, in full.
We never charge you a fee for cancelling an order.
Dispatch times, delivery estimates, any delivery charge, and what happens if a delivery fails are set out in our Shipping Policy.
Risk in the goods passes to you when they are delivered to the address you gave us.
If your order arrives damaged, please tell us within 48 hours of delivery, as our Returns Policy sets out, so we can put it right.
Our Returns Policy sets out how to cancel an order, how to return something, who pays return postage, and how long a refund takes. Please read it before you order.
Whatever that policy says, we will always take back and refund goods that are defective, damaged, not what was advertised, or delivered outside the delivery schedule we gave you. Nothing in these terms takes away rights that Indian consumer law gives you.
There is no cancel or return button on the site yet. To start either, write to info@anvayaliving.in with your order number and we will handle it by email.
You can leave a review on a product page. Please keep it honest and about the product.
Reviews are read by a person before they appear, so there is a short wait. We publish the name you type and the text you write. We may decline a review that is abusive, unlawful, off topic, promotional, or clearly not about a product we sell. We do not edit a review to change its meaning, and we do not remove a review simply because it is critical.
We do not write reviews of our own products, and we do not pay anyone to write one.
By posting a review you confirm it is your own words, and you allow us to publish it on the site.
Our AI Concierge suggests products from our own catalogue. It is a helpful assistant, not professional advice, and it can be wrong. Please check the product page before you buy. What you type into it is sent to an external model provider so that a reply can be generated. We do not keep a record of the conversation. Our Privacy Policy explains this in more detail.
Please use the site lawfully and reasonably.
Please do not try to break or bypass its security, scrape or copy the catalogue in bulk, use automated tools to place orders, interfere with other people's use of it, upload anything unlawful, or impersonate somebody else.
We may withdraw access if the site is being misused.
We keep the site available as best we can, but we do not promise it will always be online or free of faults. We may change, pause or withdraw any part of it, including a product, at any time.
The name Anvaya Living, our logo, the site design, the product photography, the product descriptions and the Journal articles belong to us or are used by us with permission.
You are welcome to share a link to any page. You may not copy, republish or use our photography or text commercially without our written permission.
Nothing on this site transfers any of those rights to you.
We take responsibility for supplying what you ordered, in the condition described, and for putting it right when we do not.
We are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profit, lost opportunity or losses arising because something you planned around the delivery did not happen.
Except where the law says otherwise, our total liability in connection with an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for anything else that cannot be limited under Indian law. Your rights as a consumer under Indian law stand whatever these terms say.
If you break these terms or use the site unlawfully, and we suffer a loss or a claim as a direct result, you agree to cover the reasonable cost of it.
If something genuinely outside our control delays or prevents an order, for example a natural event, a strike, a transport failure, a power or network failure, or a government restriction, we will tell you as soon as we can and agree a new date with you or refund you in full. We are not liable for the delay itself.
We may update these terms as the business changes. The current version always lives at /policies/terms-of-service, with the date it was last updated at the foot of the page.
The terms that apply to your order are the ones published when you placed it. A change we make later does not alter an order you have already placed.
If something has gone wrong, write to info@anvayaliving.in with your order number. Most things are settled quickly this way.
If you would like to raise it formally, our Grievance Officer is:
Shuchi Bansal, Grievance Officer Email: info@anvayaliving.in Post: A-401, Akshar Alvario, Plot No. 76, Sector 27, Nerul, Navi Mumbai 400706, Maharashtra, India Phone: +91 9867752032, 9:00 am to 9:00 pm, 7 days a week
We acknowledge every complaint within 48 hours of receiving it and resolve it within 30 days. We give you a reference number in our reply so you can follow it up.
These terms are governed by the laws of India.
We would always rather settle a disagreement by talking to you first. If that does not work, the courts at Navi Mumbai will have jurisdiction.
That does not limit your right as a consumer to complain to the consumer commission where you live or work. Indian consumer law gives you that right and these terms do not take it away.
If a court finds that any part of these terms cannot be enforced, that part is treated as removed. The rest continues to apply.
If we do not enforce something straight away, we have not given up the right to enforce it later.
